Lost Tales: Rise of the Banchos

Introduction

In the Digital World, there are many stories that are shrouded in mystery, with facts still needing to be discovered. Even though not everything has been discovered yet, there are certain elements that haven’t been properly archived, and a quick summary could do wonders for future research. The “Lost Tales” are a series of records of incomplete mysteries in the history of the Digitial World, here, all the available information regarding the events is going to be archived for future usage.

This particular tale is about the fight of the mysterious Digimon that carry the title of “Bancho” and their fight for justice against the group of Digimon that act behind of scenes of the Digital World and the mastermind behind them.

Hot-blooded! The Bancho Dojo

It all started one day when a letter calling for all the Tamers in the nation was sent by a mysterious sender, the letter only mentioned a place and time for a meeting. Although a Tamer was suspicious about it, they went there anyway, but at first, the Tamer didn’t find anything, but that was just because they didn’t look at the right place. Bancho Leomon appears there complaining about the tamer’s unexpected slackness and decides to train that tamer from scratch. Bancho Leomon promised a man’s reward for the Tamer who could finish his test, and so the Bancho Leomon trial starts.

After a long time, the Tamer was able to endure Bancho Leomon’s training and finally, he could recognize the tamer as a true Digimon Tamer and so the tamer is given a man’s reward giving the Bancho Leomon card and asks the Tamer to use his power as much as needed for the good of justice.

Lilimon in love! Chocolate Big Operation

In a facility, Lilimon is being corned by Dokugumon and Archnemon. It seems that Lilimon disobeyed Archnemon, and now the Dokugumon want to hurt Lilymon. As Lilymon is screaming for help now that the Dokugumon are targeting her body by the orders of Archnemon, the lights went out for an instant, fearing what might be there makes Archnemon and the Dokugumon run from that area.

As the lights return, Lilimon only catches a glimpse of Bancho Leomon that allows her to recognize her savior, but right after that and she tries to say thanks to Bancho Leomon, he’s gone. Lilimon only heard about him from rumors, but looking at him showed how cool the man among the men really is, Bancho Leomon. Seeing that makes Lilimon want to make up her mind and confess to Bancho Leomon. Since it’s Valentine’s Day she wants to give him chocolates and tell him how she feels. She founds a Tamer there that was staring at her before, asking why they didn’t help, but now that doesn’t matter and she just wants help to find ingredients to make chocolate that can convey her thoughts.

With that Tamer’s cooperation, Lilimon was able to prepare a large amount of chocolate, but there was already no sign of Bancho Leomon. Rumor said that he had left alone to train as a warrior. Lilimon wonders why Bancho Leomon left her, was it because she wasn’t attractive? Or he already had an important Digimon already? Or maybe, it’s because she wasn’t a bancho…

BAN-TYO – The Lone Rebel –

Various Digimon are being transported by Commandramon until Bancho Mamemon appears to stop them. The Commandramon evolves into Sealsdramon and Bancho Mamemon thinks they want to fight, but actually, they escape from the area in a way that Bancho Mamemon didn’t see anything, but he won’t let them get away with this and will seek them and bring them to justice no matter what.

Bancho Mamemon enters a facility where many Digimon are being imprisoned, he frees them saying that they don’t need to care about anyone’s think, they need to live freely. The Digimon are very happy saying that not only they’ll never forget about his help, but also that they want to work under Bancho Mamemon, being his underlings/young brothers. The Bancho, however, doesn’t understand why they would want to return to being that when he just set them free, but they want to find their new sense of self, and hope that by living with Bancho Mamemon they can find that. But, Bancho Mamemon can’t accept that, since having so many brothers would remove his own freedom. The Bancho runs away from there, but the other Digimon run so they can follow their big brother.

In the background, however, two Digimon can be seen detecting that the “BAN-TYO” are still on their way and must be eliminated. The most recent report states that a new “BAN-TYO” appeared, and so they need to prepare their new strategy.

BAN-TYO – Lili the Black Lily-

In a familiar-looking facility, a Commandramon and Sealsdramon are hutting down a Black Tailmon that got in their way and now they will delete the Digimon as a showcase of what happens to those who interfere with them. Black Tailmon, however, isn’t regretting what she has done. Suddenly, Sealsdramon is destroyed and so is Commandramon that tried to contact the headquarters after noticing what was happening. Black Tailmon is mad at first, asking why she was helped when she didn’t want, but there a Lilimon says that she didn’t want to help Black Tailmon, but now that she can move, she needs to get out of there now. Before Black Tailmon can process what happened, the Lilimon goes away. Still there, the Black Tailmon notices that Lilimon might be the one from the rumors, the one that is a Bancho, Bancho Lilimon, and so, Black Tailmon decides to become that Lilimon’s underling. Black Tailmon asks the help of a Tamer that saw everything, they need to follow Big Sis Bancho Lilimon.

Later on, Black Tailmon is attacked by a Tankdramon and asks Bancho Lilimon for help. Bancho Lilimon wonders how they keep appearing more and more, she is now weak. Since the fighting power of Bancho Lilimon decreased, Tankdramon now was initiating the capture sequence, however, seeing Big Sis in this situation triggered something inside of Black Tailmon that evolved into Lady Devimon and now wanted to save her.

Later Bancho Leomon appears, and Lady Devimon asked why he didn’t do anything when he had a chance to show himself for Big Sis. But, Bancho Leomon just asks if that was Lilimon, and so goes away. Lady Devimon, still mad at Bancho Leomon, screams for him to come back, but is stopped by Bancho Lilimon. Lady Devimon is confused at first but wonders if Lilimon understood something.

Bancho Lilimon thinks that since she was saved again, she still can’t compare to Bancho Leomon after all. She needs to become an even stronger Digimon, strong enough to protect everyone, that is when she’ll become a true Bancho like Bancho Leomon.

BAN-TYO -My Path to Determination-

In a building that looks like a decaying laboratory, the D-Brigade is oppressing Insect Digimon, but only the weak ones were targeted. Bancho Stingmon won’t allow that to continue without doing anything and goes to that building alongside a Tamer who had previously helped Bancho Mamemon and Bancho Lilimon. And so a joint battle alongside Bancho Stingmon started against the D-Brigade.

Together the two get rid of the D-Brigade members at the place, but Bancho Stingmon still needs to deal with the rest of the D-Brigade, and so parts ways with the Tamer promising to help them when they need it. Leaving there Bancho Stingmon finds out their report, which had quite a lot of detailed information regarding the “Bancho”. Not only talking about the Digimon Tamer that helped the Banchos but also a certain Bancho that Bancho Stingmon never heard about before.

BAN-TYO – Manliness Wrath Soul-

A letter is sent to all known Banchos, it didn’t have a sender, only a message that someone was waiting at Mugen Mountain. The Banchos gather at Mugen Mountain, where the D-Brigade is waiting with a plan to take them out, finally killing Bancho Leomon. This was supposed to be the big final battle between the D-Brigade and the Banchos, and the mastermind behind the D-Brigade’s actions was also there. However, someone hears a Commandramon and Sealsdramon talking about the plan and takes them out. It’s the fifth Bancho, Bancho Golemon, that will meet Bancho Leomon again after a long time.

There the manifested body of Yggdrasil, Yggdrasil 7D6, appears claiming that the planned ending can’t be avoided as God’s orders are absolute. But Bancho Leomon appears and goes against Yggdrasil, asking “Who do you think is greater, God or a Bancho?” and so he prepares to fight against Yggdrasil while the other Banchos watch. To Yggdrasil 7D6 the Banchos are just alien substances that aren’t allowed in the Digital World, and so they need to be destroyed by the hands of God, the body of Yggdrasil 7D6 starts to shine, it’s planning to self-destruct.

According to Bancho Golemon, that explosion would wipe out even Mugen Mountain itself. Bancho Leomon orders all of them to run from there, they can’t let the Tamer be involved with this anymore and they don’t need to fear, as he promised to beat up Yggdrasil for good. Bancho Lilimon, Stingmon, and Mamemon run from there (With Bancho Lilimon being the one that didn’t want the most to leave Leomon there), but Bancho Golemon stays there saying that there was still something the two of them had to settle.

Bancho Leomon gets angry saying that wasn’t the time to talk about that, but Bancho Golemon says that is exactly the kind of being that the Banchos are after all. Bancho Leomon wanted to say no, but that was just the truth. They would settle things out, but they first need to deal with Yggdrasil, and of course, they can do anything, after all, they are the Banchos. That is right, isn’t it?
